NHCH runs on very limited resources. At present only 29 children are supported fully, rest of us live on faith. George Fernandes is working in the Christian organization as a Coordinator earns to meet some of home needs. Just Dial services are facilitating to connect people. Dr. Max Burgin and some others committed to raise sponsors for other children. Many suggest us to stop taking children but seeing their plight we are not able to say no to those who knock at our doors for shelter and food. Just with Rs. 1,250 ($29) a month a child life will be given New Hope.

Hence the biggest challenge is no space in the Home. We 49 people live in just 2 bed room house. Even that is in big problem as it is located in the locality that opposes living in a Christian way of life, singing and worshipping. On the other hand it is hard to get another house for rent because our number grew to 49.

It is George Fernandes’s desire to see every child have his own little corner where he or she can relax and call his or her own.

Therefore the only option is to go for our own shelter.

Those who are supporting a child visit us spend some time to give and receive the love. These visitors are expressing their satisfaction that they are able to make a difference in the life of a child by sponsoring or helping a child.
