Five Fold Objectives of HHI:-
- To assist in building up broken communities and
provide help to meet the need for food, clothes, shelter and to
transform them in holistic manner.
- To promote and provide counselling, self
esteem,
self responsibility to motivate youth and adults and conduct seminars,
workshops, lectures and literature to provide knowledge.
- To open Homes for street children, Rag-Pikers
and
provide social welfare schemes such as school, colleges, hospitals,
home for the aged and relief work.
- To organise health fairs.
- To conduct spiritual emphasis meetings,
Pastors’
seminars, mission and evangelism and planting worship centres.

Children Home: A home for orphans, semi-orphans, abandoned, street
and slum children
Children Camps
Rev. George does
not want to confine this
mission only for the children but his ultimate goal is to spread the
love of Jesus Christ to all the un-reached. Helping Hands is reaching
children through Children Camps. In 5 years span, 20 Children Camps
have been conducted in 2 states of India and more than 2000 children
are blessed. In the year 2009 Old Aged and Young Widows Program has
been begun to provide basic stipend per month.
Church Planting
Training Program
In the year 2009,
Helping Hands began Pastoral
Training program for the lay leaders to provide basic knowledge about
the Bible and equip them with the leadership qualities in order to
plant churches. Helping Hands provides them monthly stipend for their
basic needs. In this way Helping Hands have established 13 house
churches in Chitoor, Andhra Pradesh.
Old Age and
Widows Care
In the year 2009
Old Aged and Young Widows
Program has been begun to provide basic stipend per month. Helping
Hands also help Old Age people to get OLDAGE Card which provides them
privileges such as concession and discounts from the Government.
Through this assistance old age people are getting dignity in their
families and young widows are taught vocational skills.
HELPING HANDS INDIA
ministries are reaching grassroots level of the society - poor and
needy, irrespective of caste, creed, and religion with the Love of
Christ and fulfilling the Great commission of Jesus Christ.

Community Development Program:
HHI is also involved in helping the poor and needy by distributing
basic needs such as clothing, food etc. It also helps slum children by
conducting tuitions in the evenings, organising health awareness
programs such as hygiene and medical camps, AIDS awareness programs
etc.

Short Term Training for Lay Leaders and
Pastors: HHI organises short term Theological training classes
at different places to equip lay leaders and pastors. Classes on church
management, leadership, Pastoral care & counselling, systematic
teaching of the Bible etc are taught in these workshops. This helps the
churches and the Pastor to be effective in God’s mission.

Youth Koinonia: Through Youth
Koinonia, Helping Hands India (HHI) organises one-day retreats to
challenge youth with contemporary issues and at the same time to
nurture them into Gods faith. Thus far HHI was able to organize a few
retreats in different parts of Bangalore and there was overwhelming
response.
